CANRI Do It Yourself Manual (DIY)

For the first time, the CANRI Do-It-Yourself manual gives you information about CANRI and its component parts all in one place. We hope you find it easy to navigate and it answers all your questions and more. Where we don't have an answer - you can send us the question! Our Answer Finder will grow with responses to your questions.

The DIY manual is available in two formats:

You can download both as a single distribution package (750k).

The manual provides documentation at all levels explaining from how to contribute data to CANRI and use CANRI resources in your own website.

CANRI is aimed at Government agencies and community organisations individuals who are interested in sharing and accessing NSW natural resources and environment information, particularly:
  • Agency and Organisational decision makers
  • Data custodians
  • Web Application managers
  • IT Support staff

The DIY manual will be updated regularly to include new developments and information. Please provide feedback on this documentation to the CANRI Business Development Manager Ph. (+61 2 9895 7808) email: canri@canri.nsw.gov.au
