Statistical summaries of data published on the Quarterly Air Quality Monitoring Reports. Data set covers from Wallsend in the lower Hunter to Sydney including the south and north west of Sydney and down to Albion Park in the Illawarrra region.

Lineage:
Before 1979, the data was not collected on-line. Data is manually collected and checked with chart recorders. Since the on-line system was set up, data is remotely acquired and entered automatically into the computer files. Data were corrected using calibration files.
Positional accuracy:
For data before 1979, some sites with position given by a description street name, suburb and the nearest landmark (eg inside the airport). Since then, location is given in AGM or lat long coordinates.
Attribute accuracy:
Data values are determined by the equipment technology at that time.
