This project was funded by the Natural Resources Audit Council (NRAC) and provides a checklist of fish species in the major estuaries within the North East NSW region, and the first comparative data on abundance and diversity of these fish communities, covering Tweed River, Brunswick River, Richmond River, Evans River, Clarence River, Sandon River, Wooli Wooli River and Corindi River. The data forms a baseline for future comparision of the fish resources in the estuaries.
