A series of orthorectified images covering the Sydney Basin. These images are primarily aimed at those GIS packages which are capable of utilising coordinated imagery as an underlay to other spatial data. Each image covers approximately 9.1km x 9.2km with a 500 metre forward and side overlap on adjoining photos.

Data was captured from aerial photography taken by the Land Information Centre at a scale of approximately 1:50000 in Sep 1998. Data was orthorectified using the best available digital terrain models sourced from the Land Information Centre. Quality control processing was performed by the Land Information Centre.

Horizontal Accuracy - Ten percent of well defined points tested will not be in error by more than 0.5mm of scale of source data.
Data was processed on a 5m grid for Urban areas and a 10m grid for Rural areas.
